QUESTION:
Why is the Tassimo coffee maker the same price in all stores?-
ANSWER:
Most manufacturers sell a product to different shops at the same price, and the shops have (more or less) the same percentage mark-up so you end up with the same price everywhere. Some of the big players buy thousands and get a reduced price but they usually have an agreement with the supplier not to cut the selling price as part of the deal not to upset other companies.
With the Tassimo coffee maker, there is still a reasonable demand as it is fairly new and the product is in quite low supply so why discount something when you can sell it full price no problem?
The old story of supply and demand, hang on 6 months and it'll be discounted everywhere.

QUESTION:
Tassimo, Senseo or Dolce Gusto - Which should I buy?
I want to buy a coffee machine and I have been looking online for days at review sites yet still feel that I am back at square one! I've narrowed it down to the Tassimo, Senseo or Dolce Gusto as these are within my price range. Any suggestions or recommendations based on personal experience would be much appreciated..... Thanks.-
ANSWER:
Hi, I got a Dolce Gusto Melody 2 machine for xmas and I love it. My favourites are the Cappuccino and the Latte. It tastes just like you would get in a coffee shop. They taste lovely and creamy and the coffee it not too strong. The machine is very easy to use and the only things you have to wash are the drip tray and the pod holder. I do rinse out the water container everyday though ♥

QUESTION:
Coffee drinkers! do you believe in Tassimo?
I drink one cup of coffee a day in my office and it has to be fresh and original (I grind coffee beans everyday and brew it in a regular coffee machine). My new decision is to bring the coffee habit to home.
I have few concerns about the Tassimo system:
1)Is the price of a single T-disk not expensive compared to coffee beans or round coffee?
2)Does the taste of the coffee dramatically better than regular filter coffee? (Is it more like coffeehouse style?
3)Can I find the T-disks everywhere or it’s just online?
4)Is it easy to cleanup?
5)Does the whole T-disk idea make more plastic waste?I guess the overall question is "do I get the Tassimo or stick with the same old-fashion filter coffee?"
I appreciate all your inputs and experiences.

QUESTION:
Thoughts on Tassimo coffee machine?
Are the products good? worth the price? I contemplated a keurig but think this sounds better because of the different drinks it makes.-
ANSWER:
Not so fast.. I really, really researched them both and I thought the Tassimo was also better than the Keurig because of all the fancy drinks it made. What I didn't realize is how poor the selection is of coffee for the Tassimo. The Keurig now has Starbucks K-Cups..and a much larger selection of coffee brands. Also, you can make hot chocolate, tea, etc, with the Keurig. I got all excited about the Tassimo because they had Starbucks. Then guess what? Starbucks stopped making Tassimo and went to the Keurig! Starbucks coffee rules..and even if you don't like Starbucks, Keurig has a much better coffee selection. If you don't really care about black coffee and want cappuccino and other drinks..then the Tassimo might be your best choice.
