  2. QUESTION:
Any good coffees for Tassimo coffee maker?
I just got a cool Tassimo coffee maker for Christmas! I know they have lots of different types of coffee for it, but I was wondering if anyone could suggest some? They are kind of expensive and I don't want to do a trial and error thing and end up with 12 different kinds I dislike. I'm normally a Maxwell house med blend kind of girl. I love starbucks drinks (white mocha, Carmel macchiato, hazelnut latte) but their regular coffee is too strong for me. Thanks for your help!

    • ANSWER:
Hi I got one myself too! The Tassimo T-20. The T-Discs I've used so far are the Maxwell House Coffee, Chai Latte, Hot Chocolate, and Cafe Crema. All are great but my favourite would have to be the Chai Latte- although I do add sugar to it but thats only because I like mine sweet. It tastes good without sugar too, depends on your taste preferences. The Hot Chocolate is great but make sure to shake the T-Discs a few times before putting into your Tassimo. I don''t like Starbucks regular coffee either because it's too strong for me but the Maxwell House one is good so I'd recommend that. Hope that helps! Enjoy! Oh the Cafe Crema was only .47 at Wal-Mart for 14 T-Discs. If you get the Chai Latte it says 16 T-Discs but its not 16 lattes- it comes with 8 Milk Disks and 8 Tea Disks, you need to use both for one cup- I also recommend putting the milk disk in first unless you like your latte more frothy and milky tasting then put it in second.

  3. QUESTION:
Is filtered, bottled or distilled water best to use with a Tassimo Coffee Maker? I think the hard tap water...
ruined my last Tassimo Coffee Maker. When I would make latte's with it, the milk t-disc would still be half full of milk after brewing. I tried to descale it with vinegar, but that didn't help at all.

I have big water bottles I like to fill up inside the grocery store at their dispensers or at the water store for drinking water. Is this filtered water okay to use or should I filter the water with a Brita, OR use bottled or distilled water? I just don't want to ruin another coffee maker. Thanks.

    • ANSWER:
What ruins the coffe maker is the mineral buildup. Cleaning regularly with vinegar should help but using steam distilled water should solve the problem because the minerals are removed.

  4. QUESTION:
Where can I find this Tassimo Brewer demo online?
A while back I went on the Tassimo CoffeeMaker website, and browsed around, and found this virtual demo of how to make coffee with a barcode coffee maker. It was pretty cool. You could spin the coffeemaker around and took at it at different views, and you would select which type of coffee you would want made, like cappuccino, or whatever. And then you would pour in water at the back, and it would make a virtual coffee for you, and then you could do it again with a different type of coffee, like a latte next.
But that was a while back, and recently, i wanted to do it again, but for the life of me, i can't find it anywhere! I've googled it a bunch of times with different words, but i just can't find it. If someone knows where it is, or how to find it, please give an answer with the link.
