We had another piece of work there. many actually. The place was full of them. but anyway, this one was " Ken ". Besides modelling men's tennis wear in the office, nobody was entirely sure what role Ken played in the organization. he would prance around the front office clad in tight white tennis shorts and polo shirts. even in February. I suppose he wasn't that hard to look at, especially since the women in the office were all really old. As were the men, actually. Ken had his own office, where he would sit and compose memos to send around the company. he enjoyed the game " Gotcha " so one HAD to read his memos and respond where required. It was like a make-work project. That's why I won't be too harsh on Ken, as he single handedly kept dozens employed in the company simply answering his memos. there was Allison too. She was about 140 years old. still with the company too. Her job, much like bill Kellys, was to crush the spirit of any employee that appeared in the slightest way happy with their job. She was good. Kelly could not do it all on his own, so I guess he delegated somewhat. except Allison had no real power.Unless you needed a file of some sort. She was the troll guarding the bridge, so to speak. God help anyone who would remove a file without her knowledge. many ( scores ) people found this out over the years. Oh yes.. Ken did have one important job there. he counted coffee pots.but only when not modelling. you see, we , if a customer bought coffee from us, would loan them however many coffee pots/urns/brewers/etc they would need. Ken would keep track of these, using a little book much like Dio's. I don't know how we would retrieve this equipment should a customer dump us. I think they sent Allison.
