Well, unfortunately i'm one of those people addicted to starbucks coffee, but I want to try to make it at home but I can't even get what I make close to what it is supposed to taste like, please help!!

This is what I do currently....

1) I steam about 12 oz. of milk using my Krupps espresso machine and the milk pitcher and thermometer that I bought from starbucks to make sure I don't get the milk too hot.

2) then I make the syrup using starbucks mochca powder using 3 tablespoons of powder with 3 tablespoons of warm water and mix..

3) To make the espresso, I usually fill up the handle thing (not sure exactly what it is called...sorry) completely with starbucks espresso, then I fill two shot glasses of espresso.

4) I combine the mocha syrup and the espresso in a glass first and then add the milk.

....finished product should be a Starbucks cafe mocha, but it is far from it, its usually not thick enough, too bitter, and just not right...very frustrating, thanks for any help!!

Help! I can't seem to make the starbucks cafe mocha right...?
