DeLonghi Coffee Maker – The Special Report You Need to Read Before You even Think of Investing in Any DeLonghi Coffeemakers

About last christmas my husband started talking about the brand DeLonghi, especially the coffee maker. how DeLonghi coffee machine is different from the rest, made in Italy where espresso was invented, beautiful looking super automatic coffee machine with superb performance blah blah blah..

But how would I know if the DeLonghi espresso coffee maker is really good? I can read about the product features, I can see the look, I can compare the price.. but can I taste the coffee that it produces before I buy?

As days passed and his birthday was coming nearer (he's an Aries, and no I'm not telling you his exact birthday :) ), his 'story telling' about DeLonghi espresso maker is becoming more frequent, and then it struck me in the head that he is just indirectly telling me that he wants a DeLonghi coffee maker for his birthday gift! Foolish me for not getting the hint any earlier..

So there I was, deciding which coffee machine to give him.. Since he has been mentioning about DeLonghi coffee maker, at least the brand selection is done already. Below were my remaining criteria for choosing the best of DeLonghi coffee makers for my beloved:

Criteria 1: Ease of Use

I'm not an espresso purist who enjoys long preparation of my cuppa, not with my 2 little kids constantly seeking my attention from the second they wake up in the morning, but yet both me and hubby insist on using only freshly ground coffee beans for our coffee. "Bean to Cup machine" would be nice, and so we settle for the Super-automatic Espresso Machines

Criteria 2: Price

My hubby was just beginning his new phase in life (yes, he was turning 40.. life begins at 40, remember?). So I wanted to make this gift as a special one for him. I set aside a budget of between 500 - 1,500 bucks, which is pretty high but I believe it will be money well spent --make that invested-- considering how special the day was for him..

From DeLonghi Espresso Coffee Maker range, there are a few products that match that price range

  • DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM 3300
  • DeLonghi Magnifica EAM 3400
  • DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM 3500.N, or
  • DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM 4500 Rialto

This range of DeLonghi Coffee Makers - Magnifica are way cool. Sleek looking, sexy..

Tempting as it may, DeLonghi Primadonna ESAM 6600 is just beyond my budget. I just hope my hubby will reciprocate and buy me this DeLonghi Prima Donna when it is my turn to turn 40! But for now, I settle for DeLonghi Magnifica 3300.

I just love it when there is no more dirts on the floor from grinding coffee beans as the coffee grinder is all integrated in this beautiful piece of machine.. One less cleaning up to do!

Where to Buy

I rarely buy things from physical shop nowadays.. I only go to Walmart for my weekly groceries but other than that I shop online most of the times. this time it's no exception

And when it comes to online purchase, only Amazon fulfills my needs now. It's secure, its customer service is well done, and it has complete range of goods selection. I buy books there, CDs, and even electronics. this time it's DeLonghi Espresso Coffee Maker, our Magnifica 3300. Suffice to say that I am a satisfied and returning Amazon customer.

After using the DeLonghi Espresso Coffee Maker for a few months now, here is my verdict about this DeLonghi coffee machine:

  • Amazing tasting coffee; freshly ground at the touch of a button. several people have told me that it tastes better than Starbucks coffee
  • Machine tells you everything that you need to do." "Fill Beans container, descale, add water...etc."

So there you have it, my satisfactory experience with DeLonghi Coffee Maker. The bottom line is that this machine makes decent espresso. After fiddling with the grind and dosage (on each type of beans I tried), I could consistently get shot quality comparable to an average shot from any of my Gaggias or Miss Silvia, with far less time and cleanup. You won't get a God Shot out of this machine, but if you're in the market for a super auto, you shouldn't expect otherwise.
