Coffee is a relatively new crop in Nepal, offering great promise for the future in this tiny, yet most enchanting mountain kingdom. Beneath her icy Himalayan peaks lay lush, fertile valleys, perfect for growing some of the world's finest shade-grown Arabica coffees.

Our Nepalese coffee is organically grown at an altitude of 2,200 to 2,400 feet in the foothills of the Ganish Himal mountain range. The beans are ripened in the thin Himalayan air under sunlit azure sky's and a canopy of shade trees. Once harvested, the beans are washed with water from the snow-fed Trisuli river and sun-dried. These beans possess excellent natural sugars, only found in the rarified air of Nepal, coupled with virgin Himalayan soils resulting in exquisite flavors.

Be sure to use a light roast to maintain the delicate florals and avoid the second crack. This is truly a rare and exquisite treat!
