The Evolution Of The Coffee Machine
Todays commercial coffee machines are a world away from the ones of yesterday. At one time, you would only have a very limited choice when it came to deciding on what to buy. However, modern units have an enormous selection of drinks to choose from and they are well known for being of a very high quality.
The drinks machine is normally a very popular spot in the workplace. Not only is it there to provide a well deserved cup of coffee, but it is also a great way of bumping into your colleagues and having a quick chat about the latest projects being worked on.
The vending units of today provide customers with all kinds of possibilities. It is no longer simply a case of tea, coffee or soup; modern machines offer many different lines including, Cappuccino, Espresso, Latte and De-Caffeinated drinks. And because the general public are now far more in tune with the environment, a lot of these machines are even stocked with rainforest alliance coffee. Basically, vending machines have changed tremendously over the years and are far more up to date. Suppliers are far more aware of what customers want and are including it in their ranges.
And these machines are not only limited to different varieties of tea or coffee. Many of these units will give their customers a large range of chilled drinks to choose from as well. These can be a very welcome sight on a hot summers day when there is a lot of work still to be done.
A lot of the time a commercial coffee machine will have a food vending unit alongside it. These have also moved on over the years. You would once only have a choice of crisps or chocolate bars if you wanted a snack, but there are now many other products to choose from. The population is far more health conscious these days and suppliers of these units are well aware of their customers needs. Modern snack machines are often stocked with healthy eating bars, fresh fruit and yoghurts. Some units are even capable of serving you with a hot meal (including a full English breakfast!).
And all of this came about after the advent of the humble coffee machine of yesteryear. It is not a patch on the models of today, but it was this which started our love of the vending machine.
If you run a business, then having a commercial coffee machine installed on the premises is always a good idea. And when it comes to deciding on what to keep it stocked with, it is advisable to do a little research. If you have a small business then you simply need to ask a few people which drinks they prefer; and larger employers can hand out questionnaires to employees. No matter how large or small your workforce is, they will certainly appreciate having a good choice of drinks (and perhaps even food stuffs) on offer. Especially if the selection includes their favourites!
