If I buy a Tassimo, will I be able to use it in Spain?
My mum's moving to Spain next year and she really wants one of these coffee pod things, but I'm not sure whether the voltage will be compatible and i can't find anything useful online... Does anyone have any clues?-

You will have no problems using an adapter...all my electrical equipment works over here without any problems.However, coffee is so much cheaper and nicer over here that I doubt she will have much need for a coffee maker....and also the equipment is much cheaper here.

Dolce gusto or Tassimo?
After returning from America recently, I can no longer drink the nasty disgusting bitter coffee I have been accustomed to drinking.
The friend I was staying with had a Keurig pod coffee machine and the coffee was amazing, granted I think the coffee creamer they had helped a lot with the overall taste, but sadly I can neither purchase the Keurig machine nor the K cups that go with it, not even the coffee creamer is available to buy in the UK.
So I'm left with the choice between the Dolce Gusto or the Bosch Tassimo coffee makers, so my question is which of the two makes the better coffee and which is the most reliable?
Also I've been told mixing single cream with milk will be somewhat of a substitute as creamer, is this true?-

Half-and-half is commonly used as a creamer in the US. It is half cream, half whole milk, as the name implies. I have both a Keurig and a Tassimo, and they are both great machines. The Tassimo makes better espresso drinks than the Keurig, but they both make equally good regular coffee. I don't think the Dolce Gusto will survive the single-serving coffee-maker wars, and will go the way of the Sony Betamax videotape player.

I'm looking into buying a machine like the Senseo, Tassimo, or Nespresso. If you have one, do you like it? Do you find it restrictive in terms of flavor/taste of coffees? Any feedback would be great. Thanks!-

I tried the senseo, but now I am back to the traditional Italian Espresso maker that works without electricty.

My boyfriend love's espresso so for his birthday I'd like to get him a Nespresso machine. I went on to their website and I've found three I think he'd like they are:Krups XN7001 - £149.00
Magimix M190 MILK - £219.00
De'Longhi Lattissima EN670 - £299.00
Could you explain why you'd buy one over the other?
He drinks espresso up to after we eat dinner after that he drinks it with milk. I drink cappuccinos and hot chocolate so I had looked at the tassimo but I know he'd like the nespresso more.
I don't think my boyfriend could be bothered with a manual machine and I could not use one so we have to go with a pod/disc machine like the Nespresso.
If you have one can you tell me what you think of it and it's coffee. I know it's an expensive way to drink coffee but without sounding like a ***** we can afford it. If you like another machine over the Nespresso please let me know.

The De'Longhi Lattissima can be had for around £199 if you are in the UK. John Lewis sells them for around £200. I have an De'Longhi Lattissima and I find it easier than the other models as it is able to make milk coffees with no other parts required.They are great machines and the coffee is great and easy to make.
